My name is Jason and I help non-native English speaking scientists to improve two of the most important skills they need to succeed in the sciences – Presentations and Writing.
I am an English language trainer based in Prague, Czech Republic, and I specialize in scientific and academic English. Originally from San Francisco, I have been helping adult learners of English in many areas of the language since 2005.

Scientific workshops for groups
Designed for PhD students of natural sciences with a minimum B2 (upper-intermediate) level of English, the presentations workshop looks at how to effectively structure a presentation and build confidence in presenting in English. The writing workshop aims to familiarize students with the scientific writing format and develop skills specific to the genre.
Individual or Group Exam Preparation
The demand for having an internationally recognized English language certificate is rapidly growing, both for universities and work. I offer preparation lessons for Cambridge First and Advanced, as well as IELTS.
